On 11 December 2019, on the occasion of the second anniversary of the activation of the Permanent Structured Cooperation (PESCO), and one day before the European Council Summit, the European Movement International will hold its latest Breakfast Briefing entitled ‘EU Security and Defence: State of play & Future Challenges.’
This panel of experts will give their insights on the status and future ambitions of EU security and defence cooperation. It will be a good opportunity to discuss the latest developments of the EU/US relations and the potential implications of a post-Brexit scenario within the framework of a deeper European defence integration.
After the initial discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session.
This event will gather senior politicians and stakeholders in order to discuss with representatives of EU institutions, civil society, the private sector, think-tanks and others. Do not miss an exclusive chance to participate in a stimulating exchange!
